You are the second person to bring up that point of me condoneing profanity, in my previous messeges I did not condone the use of profane languages or say that I was positive hogan was a christian because no one can truly be shure if anyones a believer I mearly stated the facts and remended that what he said and by his actions show potential of a struggling christian. In previous posts I did NOT condone profanity but stated that you cannot judge weather or not a person is a christian by what words they choose to say. I have already once been attacted with out people chooseing to fully read my posts and my words taken out of context. But I do believe Hogan is a struggling believer and stands up for things that are right (Bush Campain, against using women as objects to get more vewers for wrestling, And evangelises to children and thier familys)

I agree John. I mean, if someone took a look at my life at times and judged me on the current fruit, they could say I wasn't saved. I'm sure we all agree that there are times when our lives don't reflect Christ. All I am saying though is that (and I'm not accusing you Don of condoning profanity) profanity can not and never should be condoned....it would definetley be a concern to me if a christian was ok with profanity and didn't see it as an issue. Thats all my point is. No accusations intended tho...sorry you got that impression Don.

I know a man from West Virginia who wrestled under the name Dave Peacock in the 1970s. He got saved and left wrestling, went to Bible college and today is serving the Lord in Tennesse. [IMG]

The person you spoke of who you would not mention the AIM name Is a friend of mine I have known for quite a while. Just to get somthing clear his "favorite bible versee" austin 3 16 is not his favorite bible verse but was just a quick thing he put down to get on this much sought after forum when he had little time. He is a very conservitive baptist who believes in the Bible but if you could just look passed the innocent hummor used and remember its just a joke and more of an insult to those who actually came up with that balphimy.

We take registration very seriously and using vulgar names as an AIM name is indicative of something more than a 'very conservative baptist'. It was NOT innocent humor. Austin 3:16 as a favorite Bible verse will NOT get him membership here either.

diane, I have his aim name and do not see what is vulger, i think you are taking the word in mistake for another. Im not shure if you would alow me to say it here so i wont.
"its just a joke and more of an insult to those who actually came up with that blasphimy."
I will remind you to read the whole statement. And i was arguing that he would be an asset to you board. But i am currious to know what is acceptible because dr. bobs interests in his profile arent exactly easy to understand if they are right with the bible. But i will not say he is wrong bcause i am not shure of the CONTEXT in wich he is using them.

KenH you made a good post. People do cuss but that doesent mean they arent christians but it doesent mean cussing is right.

There is NOTHING even slightly vulgar in Dr. Bob's interests or profile. His remark about 'judging people' can be taken many ways. He's a 'judge' for election day but he also calls himself a recovering pharisee, hence another joke.

Even mispelled words, if they imply vulgarity, are not accepted on this board and those who have vulgar usernames, email names or AIM names will not be accepted for memberships no matter if they are a 'very conservative Baptist'.

    Thanks.

Personally, I don't cuss. First, because I don't think it is what a Christian should do. Second, because my parents and I paid thousands and thousands of dollars for my college degree and I try to usually speak like that money was not spent in vain. [IMG]

i was just asking about dr bob, no accusations but i was refering to sarcasm. my friends aim is not vulger the name he uses is a name that black people will call whites such as cracker, or the native americans term "fighting whities". So its not spelled wrong to imply somthing bad. hes basicly calling himself a white rapper, which is not vulger at all and its clearly aimed at himself.

No one thought he was Hulk Hogan. AND... many of us use our real names to register. I am not ashamed of who I am.

Karen, this 'friend' of his attempted to join as Hulk Hogan and used some unaccepted words, Austin 3:16 as his favorite Bible verse, etc. Don is claiming his friend did this out of fear.

Hulk Hogan would never use Stone Colds favorite unbiblical verse, they don't even get along. Thus, it is bogus.
