Hunt , Lee and Grudem

    Well, as a slightly undereducated person, I found that Grudem had difficulties explaining his logic in terms that were logical. He did really well at explaining his theology when it did not need to be logical.

    I categorize the ESV as an older English version because of the English it uses , not its relatively recent release date . It's English is dated and can be compared wth the language of the NKJ and NASU . Of course I prefer the ESV to the other two . And as I have said , I look forward to a revision of the ESV . I think it will be a pleasant improvement over the current edition .

    The NRSV is a more careful translation and more contemporary in language than the ESV by a slight margin . The ESV was a rush job specifically for the reason I stated earlier .

    I look forward to updates with respect to the NKJ and the NASU .
