    Just a suggestion Charles.
    You posted 36 verses--all of them double-spaced at that!
    That took up quite a bit of bandwith making such a long post. We all have Bibles. Why not just quote the parts of the passages that you are referring to, instead of an entire chapter? After all you are on page 29 and this thread will be closed on page 30.
    You are simply hastening its demise! You have finished nothing and demonstrated nothing. What was your purpose? You didn't explain why you posted two extra verses, neither explained their context. Anyone can copy and paste verses. To be blunt, brother, that simply shows naivete and lack of knowledge concerning the Bible if you are unwilling to post any knowledge or explanation of the verses that you post. Any "dummy" can do that. So kindly tell me your purpose in doing so. These are just some of the things said to me. I am not saying no name but they know who they are. I am done here. I am tired of filling dum or unlearn every time I post because someone don't like me. And I did not know there was a rule on here that I couldn't post just scripture. I am leaving because of this . I am done with the hate. You can see all of my reasons on the last pages of can we lose our salvation and on the foot washing pages. I real want my name take off of the BB. I love all of you and God bless. You know who you are that has troubled me. And God know who you are. I pray for you because this is not of God.     ON the thread about baptists fighting over anything, there is a food fight going on.. come on down there, and let out some frustrations!!!

    Besides, there is no way to erase your name from the board...
    It is a BAPTIST board... Once a member, Always a member...
    Some are just inactive!!! lol

    Charles, you can't take things personally here. This is a forum. There are debates. Not everyone is going to agree with you or me for that matter. Honestly, I haven't always agreed with you. Sometimes I've strongly disagreed. And, I'm sure the same could be said of me. In fact, I've been called a liar and a crybaby and I don't even have 200 posts here. But that's ok. I go to sleep at night just fine. My personal security and self worth aren't determined by the Baptist Board. I like the fact that my beliefs are challenged from time to time, some are affirmed, and others get no attention what so ever. Come, participate, have fun, but don't wear your feelings on your shoulder. Some of these folks will knock them off and really didn't mean too. It's just the nature of debate.

    I came onto this board with a thin skin when it came to debating. Now after many challenges I've come to love all the debates that I've been involved in. And I've noticed that my skin has indeed become thicker. We can learn from these attacks, and it does make us wiser.
    You just keep cutting and pasting those scriptures my friend. An old Pastor once told me that "When throwing stones at dogs, the one that is hit is the one that yelps loudest".

    Awww, Charles, don't leave. You can't folk too seriously here.

    Why just last night, I was told I was disrespectful to my husband and ignorant all by a poster who wasn't even involved in the conversation up to that point. :laugh: Maybe it's pure stubbornheadedness, but comments like that aren't going to run me off, nor am I going to allow my feelings to be hurt. Just cause someone says something doesn't make it fact.

    We can't let others determine our thoughts or feelings.

    Take a break if you need to. Agree to disagree. Simply say this is the last you have to say. Just don't leave us (the BB) for good. Everyone here contributes to the success of this site even those with whom we disagree.

    I am sorry but my spirit is telling me to go. I do not want to be apart of anything hateful. I am not saying all of you are hateful I am saying some of you are. they know who I am talking about. I don't care if this is a debate or not some of the things that are said are out of line and it need something done about it. I will not stay on a board that lets something like that take place. I came on here to debate scripture and not to be put down. I think this is very hateful thing to do to someone and it truely is not apart of God. I hope you guys understand. I don't think it will stop. So I am going to press on to the mark of the high calling. Hope to see you in heaven. BYE

    Just FTR, I noticed, after looking at the last few posts you posted where you seemed to think one poster was full of hate. I also saw a post or two back where you asked for prayer for your daughters. I admit, I did not see that until now. But when looking at the thread, I noticed that the 'hateful poster', was the first one to acknowledge praying for your daughter. I must say, that simply does not sound much like hate, to me.

    Incidentally, I also noticed that there was a member on-line that has been around about twice as long as I have (2 years), that had a total of 14 posts, and had not posted for about a year. None of us have to post as often as we do. But if, and when we do post, especially in a debate forum, don't expect everyone to agree. I don't get into some threads, much these days, for the reason that I/we have been over it before, so why do it again for no reason? I can still read them, and will comment when I think it would actually serve a purpose, as opposed to arguing with the same individual, over and over again, about the same thing.

    And I seriously doubt many on the BB, have much problem knowing where I stand on most things.
