I have had my feelings hurt on several occasions and felt like quitting. It comes and it goes. I constantly remind myself who I'm there for, rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.

I'm just slow, always said the pews were named after the dead flesh sitting in them :)

After 3 years, he finally came before the service started and stayed longer, He began to enjoy the fellowship he missed all those years. Perhaps, we as pastors, miss a lot more than we think.
... What a wonderful testimony about the old man and about you!

I hate business meetings where they try to decide the color of the carpet.

    Puh-leeeeeeze.

Our pastor was totally frustrated with a congregation years ago, they couldn't decide on a color for the two church doors. They were cracked and peeling and discusting. He went to the paint store on Monday and bought some bright purple and painted the doors.

They stayed that color for years. :)
