But what is your point? How does that apply to salvation today?

Cut that out Aaron. It's as wrong for you to say it from your side as it is wrong for Amy to say on her side.

It does not help advance anything that edifies.

Just so we're clear, I didn't say it.

    Amy,

Just so you know, the point was not lost on others who pay attention also. :)

On the contrary. In the thread Calvin and the Holy Spirit you said on 1/14/ at 12:16PM :

"The gospel says that Christ died for all men.
Calvinism says that Christ died for some men.

    Two different gospels."

You do the same things that you complain others do. You are very inconsistent.

Yeah, but Amy is right and Aaron is wrong so its ok. ;)

I thought the OP's author specifically asked for no fighting? Can't we all just get along?

No I'm not. I did not accuse Aaron of preaching a different gospel. I do not question the salvation of others on this board and I never have. Aaron does repeatedly.

And now I will play nice for Skandelons sake. :)

Plain English Amy. You believe that Calvinism and non-Calvinism teach two different gospels. Two different gospels means that one of the gospels is false and the adherents are unregenerate.

Yes. I have a problem with the doctrine of Calvinism, but I try to limit my comments to the doctrine (Calvinism) and not the person (Calvinist).

I have never stated nor implied that Calvinists are not saved even though I have had my salvation questioned more than once by them.

Actually, you are only half right...

Genesis 29:30 "And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years."

It's nice to have this to put "hate" into context considering it's a hard word to translate in the Hebrew.
