I may actually agree with Anderson on this

    Anderson said the author is ignorant of Baptists -

    One of the few times I agree with him! (assuming this is the Steve Anderson that I am thinking of)

    There are so many errors in the article I do not have time to address them all. The glaring one is the fact that God is not capitalized. With that error in mind it discredits the rest of the article.

    At a glance the article is wrong concerning both Baptists in general and those Baptists who affirm the SBC statements of common belief and give to SBC missions. So yes, the criticism of the authors ignorance is correct.

    That was s typo. He capitalizes God most of the time.

    The whole premise of the article "Difference Between Baptist and Southern Baptist" is nonsense, and the information given is pretty much useless.

    Let me begin by saying, "GAAAG." IMO, the author seems to conflate the American Baptist Convention (or whatever that organization is calling itself these days) with what he calls "Baptists."
