I need ideas for Bible Club ministry for teens

Could you give us some more info on exactly what you are looking for? I have been involved with youth off and on for a while, but I nned to have an idea of what you need. Thanks.

Well, i have a few ideas. First, I highly suggest letting the teens get involved. let them share testimonies or praises infront of their friends. they don't need to stand up or anything big, just make a small segement of the youth meeting that. i know that it helps me in hearing what God is doing in the lives of my peers. Also, i suggest that you get illustrations from your own personal experience. Or you may be able to get ahold of an illustration book. i know that my youth pastor doesn't like them, but they may work for you. Also, i suggest that since it is summer- take advantage of the time! Kids are out of school- so you can see them more often, you can have them out later, and you can take them to camp! it is probably too late to go to camp now, but if you can get even a small weekend set up to go camping or stay at a hotel and jsut be together! My youth pastor, pastor Andy, says that one thing that will either help or hurt a youth group is whether or not they are a family. If you don't have people getting together and sharing life experience you don't have a great youth group. P. Andy says that it is a very rare thing to find, but it's one that you are willing to search and strive for. i know that when we are right with God, we are more a family. We also sing better, b/c it all comes from the heart. You know, i just did a small class for the past few weeks called 'Bible messages from the heart' it was really helpful to me sice I lead a Bible study @ my school (well not any mre b/c SCHOOL IS OUT!!! YEAH!!!). If you want to get ahold of him to ask him about preaching and things that deal w/ the youth group email me adn i'll give you a way to contact him.

 

Prayer, fasting, Bible study, evangelism, helping the poor, widows, all the weak and helpless.

You'll know you're likely doing something right when the group begins to suffer persecution.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

 

BTW, get some older, experienced, Godly saints involved. IMO Youth were never meant to split off and go it alone.
