Sounds like some fundamentalist preachers I know. :laugh:

For those of you who are fundamentalist, do not take this as bad. I'm speaking about some old-time preachers who preached just about like this guy and if you were in a small church you were going to catch a little spray half-way to the back. You certainly don't sit on the front row.

 

They had him on one of the morning shows over the weekend and he seems like a great guy that most would like. He said he is just that way when he gets excited about something.

Some of the terms/phrases he used made me think he might be a fundamental baptist of some breed.

Seemed like the guy next door.

 

I edited to correct my statement since you posted, but you are absolutely right. I've even heard some preachers use the I'm going in with both barrels loaded comment. Must be an Okie/Texas Mid-southern slang.
