In MN, you can register right there at the polls if you forgot. I registered when I renewed my drivers licence a couple of years ago - makes it real easy to do, just put a check in the box.

    Voted at 7:02 am.

My Wife and I voted at about 9am EST
about a 30 minute wait, but that was just enough time to finish my donut and coffee. The church that supplied their facility for my precinct had breakfast for the voters.

My little Emma told the ladies that were manning the optical scanner "I voted with my daddy"

So I guess that makes it unanimous.

I just got back from voting. I voted the straight Working Families Party line - candidates are allowed to be on more than one party line.

I voted first thing -- ten minutes before the polls opened, there was a line of about 50 people. About a twenty minute wait, and not enough places to fill out the ballot. People were writing against the wall, on chairs, everywhere.

If anyone is curious, I voted a straight Republican ticket.

I voted at lunch today. 10 minutes in line. It took 2 minutes for me to use the electronic machine. Piece of cake.

It took very little time for me. When my wife went this morning, you could barely get into the parking lot.

Why do some polls open before 7:00am. Ours would not let you in the door before 7:00?

I eventually voted today. Got to the polling place at 11am and spent 2 HOURS in line!!!!!

Straight Republican. I had been pushing Peroutka until a couple months ago when the thought of a Kerry presidency hit me as an actual possibility. I decided that I agree with Bush on enough issues to vote for him with a clear conscience.

In other news, My 81 year old grandmother voted today for the first time ever!!! She has been a Bush supporter for a few years now, and decided that she really wanted to vote for him. I am so proud that she was able to vote. I told her that Aunt Opal, her older sister who died in January, would turn over in her grave if she knew that Mamaw voted for a Republican. Mamaw doesn't really care though.

Regardless of anyone's political affiliation, I think this election has been good in getting many more people interested in the process than has been the case in recent years.

BTW, in case you were wondering, I've been gone for about 2 months because my computer's been on the blink. It was healed this evening. So, I'm back! Great to be here again!

I voted at 8:00. I was at the school way before most of the kids. I voted all Republican, 'cept one Libertarian (Mike Fellows).

I voted to keep the ban on cyanide leach process open pit mines. [IMG]

I voted to legalize medical marijuana. [IMG]

I voted for a state constitutional amendment that preserves the right to hunt and fish in Montana.

I voted to amend the state constitution so's to define marriage as between a male & a female.

Anyhoo, not one problem. Voted & went to work. I expect to be on the winning side, for the most part. If we got graded on our ballots, B+ for Brother Curtis
