The National Enquirer reports that Bush has resorted to drinking to handle the stress of recent events.

If that is true, I will join in the call for his resignation.

I sure hope that is not the case. Are there any credible sources that confirm this? I would be very interested in seeing the article.

Aw, come on, ScottJ: consider the source.
I am no fan of the current Administration, but I am not ready to consider that as factual.

It's the National Enquirer. They make WND look like Encyclopedia Britanicca.
Is there something in the Constitution that forbids the consumption of alcohol by a POTUS or similar official?

Remind me to scratch the name of John Adams from every document, since he is related to Samual Adams.

I love when people make statements like this. I mean, who really cares if you call for the resignation of the President of the United States? The man was elected and will serve out his term, whether you like it or not. It makes it even better when you factor in the small fact that you would want him to quit for doing something that is TOTALLY LEGAL IN OUR NATION.

Let me try something new. I call for the resignation of Democrats. Maybe all of them will resign their citizenship.

It has been awhile since we have heard about his alien friend. I wonder if they are drinking buddies.

We already know he drinks alcohol they like to
claim its a non-alcoholic beer but it has alcohol
    content.

If I remember correctly it was Buckler Beer.

It will take a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th source to back
up the Enquirer for it to make the mainstream press.

As for Bush and the Alien LOL! [IMG]

Rocko9 you do realize we have the reinvention
of the Caption contest for you to vent. ;)

I did consider the source... but even they have been on the leading edge of truth a few times.

You really read the National Enquirer? [IMG] </font>[/QUOTE]No. It was referenced in another article I read.

I do find the front page amusing when standing in the check out line to be honest.

Doesn't matter because Bush does exactly what he is told by his handlers.

Evidence of stress most definitely ..does someone
    need to look after him...yes.

Most powerful man on the planet must have someone
to trust and be accountable too.

Does he need help...I think he does..time I believe will bare that out.

    imho

This kind of reminds me of the "Mrs Clinton our enemy" thread.

A photo is evidence of stress? Another political cheap shot, IMHO.

I may not support President Bush in all that he does, but if we are going to be critical, lets do so on a sound basis, not because he looks "stressed out", supposedly drink 0.5% beer, or the NatInq says he has returned to drinking.

Just remember, even though the Enquirer is a scandal rag tabloid, it has broken major stories that were later picked up by the mainstream media. For example:

    * Rush Limbaugh using his maid to buy Oxycontin for his drug habit.
    * The photos and ransom note in the John Benet Ramsey murder case.
