How is it mistreating illegal aliens by sending them back to their homeland?
Is it mistreating someone when you help them to get into a position where they are not breaking the law of the land? (which was a condition of aliens in Lev.)

Is it mistreating them because you do not do for them what and how they want or insist that you do?

Many people call God unfair because He does not give us what WE want Him to give. We want God's will to change into their will or He is mistreating us.

There are those who claim if we do not treat illegal aliens like they say we should then we are satanic. I really do not think that statement was inspired by God and if it were not of God then ---------

The cause and effect of illegal aliens go much deeper than this debate. Letting them stay has already been proven a mistake. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Just a little humor to lighten the debate:

a banker, Mexican and an Arizona legislator are sitting round a table with 12 cookies on it. The banker takes 11 cookies and nudges the legislator: "Watch out! The Mexican is after your cookies!"

Please quote the next verse.. it puts that verse into context...

Here is the verses you quoted, along with the following verse:
    Deu 28:43-45
    (43) The alien who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.
    (44) He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.
    (45) All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the LORD your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.

Of course it wasn't a blessing, it was a curse!.. It was a curse brought on because the Israelites didn't uphold their sided of the covenant.

BTW, maybe that's what we are seeing in America. Because we have become greedy, selfish, lovers of ourselves, instead of lovers of others..

Let's face it.. we feel we OWN this land. WE don't.. God does. WE feel America is ours.. and most of us were just blessed enough to be born here.. we didn't do anything to receive it.

We've turned our backs on God in many ways, and now the conservative church in America is letting political issues invade it's ranks, so much so that we are replacing the sermon on the mount with the state of the union address.

That's the point exactly. And some people think they are doing good when they try to bring it about.
