</font>
He probably used the Kennedy ploy. I was tired and confused and didn't know what I was doing. Please Please forgive me. I might need your votes someday.

    He certainly did:

    John Kerry's own words on "Meet the Press" on April 18, 1971:

    SEN. KERRY: There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search and destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions..."

    Actually that's not as far-fetched as it sounds. Lt. Calley, who took part in the My Lai massacre, and who had ordered children tossed in a ditch and shot, was pardoned by Nixon.

    Ballfan, I still don't have that documentation on Kerry advocating "surrender." If you just made the story up, tell us so we can close this one out.

    Otherwise, please post the evidence.

    </font>
Wouldn't you know it, Hanoi John Kerry did this very thing in Kanas City in 1972.

    Now he wants us to trust him to be president.

    </font>
Because he is not a war criminal, Bush is.
    </font>
At one point I think Kerry even said he committed war crimes like everyone else in vietnam did.

    He should have been prosecuted. You would vote for such as him?
    </font>
Do you have a problem understanding the written word? I have repeatedly posted that I will vote for Kerry! Let me say it again, I will vote for Kerry! One more time, in case you don't get it, I will vote for Kerry! In fact, my entire family will vote for Kerry! That's right, we will all vote for Kerry!

    For those of you who will vote for Bush, or any other candidate, I think it is wonderful that you have this option, and I support your right to exercise it. If Bush gets elected, I will live with the results. I, however, will vote for Kerry. Now, the only way for me to not vote for Kerry is if he fails to get the democratic nomination. In that case, I will vote for the democratic candidate. But, I fully expect to vote for Kerry in November.

    So no matter what he did or does or states or supports he has your vote.

    Reminds me of the three monkey syndrome. [IMG]

    Except we do realize that Bush is not perfect. Just the overall best choice. [IMG]

    The FBI was there, too. They never made any arrests, and never told any Congressmen.

    Wait a minute. How's that? The FBI did nothing? How could they do that. Didn't they arrest people doing the planning?

    Nope. They couldn't. Because only vague talk about attacking congressmen happened, and no conspiracy or planning went on (which would have been a felony).

    Does that mean that people lied about what went on to smear Kerry? [IMG]

    They think you're dumb enough to believe that the FBI made tapes of these fools planning an attack on senators, yet did nothing.

    They firmly believe in the Barnum principle.

    Are the democrats any better? Not that I can see.

    There's a way out of this kind of sleaze.

    Peroutka.

    [IMG] </font>
I don't know, Ken. I think I git to agree with Ballfan here. Look. It is either going to be Bush or Kerry this election year. If you could only choose from these two, which would you choose? I know you are going to say that you don't have to, but just imagine for a moment that they were the only two candidates on the ballot.

    Nope. Let me corner you into a hypothetical for a minute if I may. Only two choices: Bush or Kerry. Who you gonna vote for?

    I wouldn't vote, but then you are going to ask, "What if you HAD to?", to which I would ask, "Are we still in America?"

    Here's a hypothetical for you, that could happen in the next four years:

    If the GOP leaders succeed in removing the ProLife, no gay marriages and no gays in the military planks form their platform, would you continue to support them, simply because they are the "lesser of two evils"?
