iIs there ANY historical evidence that Alexandrian school corrupted texts?

    That those who puttogether the manuscripts, compiling them in the so called Alexandrian schhol intionally attempted to distort/corrupt receivied text?

    One thing that comes to mind is that if this cult did so and it's true that they denied the deity of Christ and other important doctrines, then wouldn't these doctrines be entirely missing from Bibles translated from Alexandrian manuscripts? Yet there aren't. No doctrine is expressed in one verse alone. Scripture interprets scripture.

    I'm amazed when I'm told that Egypt was a place of corruption and anything that came out of it was bad. Then I mention that Joseph and Jesus were specifically brought there to protect them and God's people, they have no answer. :)
