    Greetings y'all! I just joined the board a few weeks ago, so I figured it was time to introduce myself.

    I'm a guy, married to a sweet girl, with three beautiful kids. I'm not a baptist, but I hope I can stay here for some good fellowship anyway.

    Welcome TruthMadePlain to the BaptistBoard.com! Glad you didn't use some of the other nicknames for North Carolina, such as the Turpentine State, the Land of the Sky, and the Old North State. As you may know, Gen. Robert E. Lee, had a good reason to say, ""God bless the Tar Heel boys!" :)

    Palatka51, didn't you realize that he is from The Tar Heel State? How can a tar heel be a temporary? I am sure he will stick around (no pun intended) for a long time. :type:

    Minnie Pearl wasn't a Baptist either, but she did make an appearance at the Prestonwood Baptist Church of Dallas (now Plano) in the 80's when I saw her. As she was welcome there, you are welcome here, and we's jest so glad to have ya!
