In your heart of hearts do you believe there's a possibility of peace between the Islamic world and the rest of us Christians ,Jews or ?. I understand that if they kill us all they will have their kind of peace. But what I have reference to is a coexisting type of peace. What do you say?

    No, not in this world.

It's like seeking health between a mad cow and his diseased brain. Both just go downhill, infecting anyone who partakes of either part, until nothing but death and destruction remain, unless one should intervene on behalf of the whole.

I'm not seeing anyone rush to intervene just yet.

I don't believe this "sibling rivalry" between Isaac and Ishmael will ever be over until the Lord returns.

I have been told that "Islam" means peace. CAIR would have us believe that Islam is a relgion of peace. The facts would indicate otherwise...

For a long historical record it is clear that the way they get peace is by killing their enemies. The Koran glorifies this kind of action. Present day "believers" demonstrate that nothing has changed.

Didn't you see the news footage following 9/11? People in Moslem neighborhoods in DETROIT were singing and dancing in the streets!!!

    Surely your question is rhetorical?

In Jerusalem, Palestinian CHILDREN'S TV glorifies the "shahid" or suicide bomber. One popular children's song contains the lyrics "When I am old enough, I will wander the streets of Jerusalem and become a shahid..." Our children's programming teaches children the alphabet and how to share. Their focuses on engendering and continuing a hatred against the Jews and the Americans, their friends.

Want to see some actual footage of of this? Check out http://www.pmw.org.il/

Peace? Never. Not in this world. And sadly, they would not allow peace in the next, but for the fact that they will be burning in hell...

It's possible to win two lotteries and get a hole-in-one being struck by lighning in the backswing all in the same day. But THEY say peace is impossible until Israel is gone. The only peace there will be will be on the threshold of the Lord's return.
Islamists have both the hatred of Cain (the rejected one) and that of Esau (the decieved and rebellious one), both of whom enjoyed the sin of selfishness. These ancient grudges do not disperse with time. Rather, they multiply as do the people. Remember Edom not allowing Israel to pass through their land? That was what? 450+ years after Esau "forgave" Jacob.
When God passes a curse (or foregoes a blessing) onto a people, that action is PERMANENT. Islamists, having rejected Christ, cannot help but feel hatred for Israel. It's not a conscious choice as much as a cultural condition.
There. That's my soap box on the issue. [IMG]

Not this according to a pre-mill interpretation of Scripture. Scripture, however, says that all things are possible through Christ.

    Luke 18:27.

Absolutely I believe there will be peace. There will be 3 1/2 years of peace during the tribulation before the antichrist breaks the treaty. Will I ever see it in my life? No. I plan on being on the first bus out of here if I'm still alive when comes to get His "bride".

Tim has it right. There will be no peach until the Prince of peace arrives.

    And webdog is right too.

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." 1 Thes. 5:3

    2 Thes. 3:16
