I can't believe how out of touch these politicians are to be surprised at the response of the bill just signed into law. What world do they live in? I do not believe for a New York minute their explanations concerning their surprise or that they did not know exactly what they were doing.

Obama voted for the same law in the State of Illinois, as you know.

What does that have to do with the Indiana Republicans passing the bill and being surprised that people dare to question their intentions?

Also, again, you provided no link to your accusation. I know, I know you posted a phony link the other day that said nothing about Obama. Start a new thread showing where he voted for the law. Otherwise we will know you are just spreading misinformation ... again.

Do you live in a vacuum? It is all over the news today that Obama voted for the same law in Illinois. Search it out for yourself. They are reporting the same link that I gave you yesterday--that is, the Illinois Senate vote was unanimous.

But supposing that Obama never voted for it and Indiana went alone on this issue. Let me ask you if you owned a bakery if you would bake a special theme cake for the KKK or the Nazi Party? Would you let a guy use the ladies restroom? Do you care if two men rent your church and hire your pastor to marry them? You could make a lot of money downtown Indianapolis in the gay barrio.

You're a smart guy, CTB; even you can do the math. If 54 voted for, none voted against, and there were no abstentions -- then ALL the Illinois senators voted for it. If ALL voted for it, then that includes ALL who were Illinois senators at the time--which included one Barack Obama.

Stop sticking your head in the sand.

The homosexual community is trying to capitalize on this in the same way some in the black community tried to capitalize on Ferguson. In both cases there is nothing to stand on or capitalize on but they want something to raise emotions to further their cause. They are due for a crisis to raise the level of their so called cause.

A Christian, or a Muslim, or someone Jewish should all have the right to refuse to participate and endorse certain activities due to their religious convictions...

I am sick to death that NO ONE dares to question muslims about this legislation, as they also hold that gay marriage is an abomination, and would refuse to participate in that!

And also looking to see any reporter asking would we also like to force a black american to suport the Klan having a meeting, or a Jewish group catering to meeting of the American Nazi party?

Probably the same world they lived in when Clinton signed virtually the same bill into law.

It is the left that has changed their tune.

Why would anyone be shocked that the liberal left would lie and misrepresent something?

    I mean really!

(slightly edited to conform to L.E.F.T.)

Yes, excellent question. Same answer I get as to if hom0sexuals would stand up for Mormon polygamy marriage.

I don't get it. Using the cake example, how would you be participating or endorsing gay marriage by baking a cake? You weren't invited to the "wedding". Would such a person only do business with other Christians? Would you bake a cake for a Jewish barmitzvah? How about the Hindu Diwali celebration? Is it okay to bake a cake for that?

Why would we have conviction about doing business with someone who "marrying" someone of the same sex but we don't have the same conviction when the person outright rejects Jesus?

There are Christians who still believe Whites and Blacks shouldn't marry. Is it okay to not bake them a cake because of that?

I have often taken gay people, adulterers, drug addicts, drunks, folks hooked on porn, homeless, etc . out to eat. Am I endorsing something by giving them food?

This just seems to be another excuse for folks to act unChristlike.

We're in a country where Christianity is supposed to be the major religion. Be glad that they are questioning the Christians and not the Muslims.

It's a shame that you don't understand the difference between being made to serve people who still view you as less than them and still no better than a slave, and providing a service to someone who just wants to be served.

What about this behavior is of Christ? My goodness. Can the Body of Christ be known for loving people instead of always being in the news for supporting stuff that pushes people away from Christ?

As the communist always said, the useful idiots in capitalism would sell the rope for their own hanging (and think that they got the last laugh because of all the money they made).

    Useful idiots.

I only care about what Jesus says and how His character shows that HE would treat other people.

They were people, so yes, them too. And they too were the religious type who sat up in the church not able to love because they were so consumed by other stuff.

Stop acting like the money changers.

You seem like you are trying to get the police to make someone cater the Clinton rallies.

And you sound like you're more concerned about the cause of YOU than the cause of Christ.

God gave every person individual competence in matters of religion.

    That's pure SBC doctrine.

I think that there are millions of people who would decline to cater a Clinton rally because of the Clintons' moral turpitude.

That doesn't mean every person listens and applies. You certainly haven't.

Dude nobody cares that you dislike the Clintons. Lay that albatross at the foot of the Cross with your dislike of Cubans.

    My dislike of Cubans?

A person should not be compelled to cater a Clinton event or a gay wedding or a Planned Parenthood function.
