I may not make it on the 22nd, but we're definitely planning on going.

I took the kids to see The Spiderwick Chronicles this afternoon. It was a great movie, but the best part was seeing the Indy Trailer on the Big Screen!

    I saw it.

It wasn't as good as "Raiders", but it was good.

I might like it if the special effects have been updated since the last one came out. Movies have changed a lot since then. I do like Harrison Ford as an actor.

    love,

We always seem to pick movies we want to go see, but end up renting instead. This looks like a renting. Can't wait to see it though, love Indy.

I just saw it and thought it was not as good as the 2nd one but definitly worth seeing. It is very true to the Indiana Jones series and Harrison Ford is great!

Campy! Spielberg should have stayed out of production. The effects and action were great but many stunts are just to far out there even for my imagination.

    I must be getting old.[IMG]

ha ha! you are right about the stunts, some of them were absolutely implausible, that was one of my complaints too, but as my husband pointed out the originals were full of the outlandish stunts as well.

I would rate Indy 4 as third place in the series behind Raiders and Last Crusade, but wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of Temple of Doom.

For some reason the this movie reminded me the old movie serials, like Flash Gordon. Don't ask me why but it had that kind of feel to me, all it was missing was the cliff hanger for the next episode.

btw, those old movie serials were the driving force behind the Indiana Jones stuff in the beginning.

Saw it the other day and thot it was good but like BBB, I would put it in 3rd place of the 4. We enjoyed seeing Indiana back at it again.
