In terms of distance learning, Luther Rice is accredited and very affordable. http://www.lrs.edu

Check out TRACS for a list of school some of which offer distance learning:

    http://www.tracs.org

Internationally, due to the exchange rate, South African Theological Seminary is accredited (South African equivalent) and very affordable (60 or 100?? per course). South Africa has a well respected education system. Paige Patterson's wife got her second doctorate from the University of South Africa (alumni include Nelson Mandela and Bishop Desmond Tutu). Her first was from LRS.

As an aside, South Africa has a number of terrific theology faculties. Also some downright bargains. I have a friend completing his DTh from UNIZUL (University of Zuluand) for less than 2000 dollars for the program. He has been at it for three years and is alost finished. Worked with very distinguished faculty.

Also, check out Jason Bakers site for Christian distance education. Jason is a professor at Regent University in Virginia. Jason lists everything from US programs to international. All are accredited or the equivalent of accredited. http://www.bakersguide.com

    Good luck.
