    Clearwater Christian College.

    KJVOnly?

    Quality of education?

    Notes of import?

    Thanks.

Not KJVOnly, good education. Think a smaller Florida BJU here. (Coincidentally, BJU started in Florida.) :type:

    exscentric,

Thanks for asking, that's a good question. Here are some points to consider. . .

Clearwater has been listed for many years in US News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges."

The CCC women's volleyball team just captured its second consecutive and seventh overall NCCAA division 2 national championship. Vickie Denny, the volleyball coach, was awarded coach of the year.

The college has a strong peer mentoring program for sophomores/juniors/seniors to disciple new freshmen.

Clearwater has been SACS accredited since 1984.

CCC participates in a joint ROTC program with the University of South Florida offering programs for Army, Navy/Marines, and Air Force training.

CCC differs philosophically from BJU in a variety of areas: student life expectations, faculty credentials, mentoring/discipleship focus, local church emphasis.

Thanks for this clarification Eric. I didn't mean to steer anyone wrong with my "smaller BJU" comment. It was intended to be a compliment. Believe it or not, BJU is generally well respected on this thread of the Baptist Board.

    God bless.

    P. S. If you see Dr. George Youstra, tell him one of his students from Karate at BJU in 1972 says hello!
