    Anyone been to Ireland and/or Scotland? What would you recommend? What would you recommend to skip?

    I would go to Scotland over Ireland, but my ancestry is Scottish. I really want to see Loch Ness and Loch Lomond. The Orkneys are also quite beautiful, as well the Hebrides. Islay is also a fantastic place.

    Edinburgh is beautiful! The view over the city from the Castle is really gorgeous. It's the only European city I really want to visit again.
