Is booing ever acceptable?

If i'm paying 20 bucks for a professional sports event and some overpaid jerk decides not to play...i'm all for booing!
Now the booing during my preaching, that's a different story. I keep asking my wife to stop...but she calls me a big baby.:laugh:

I agree with The Scribe and bobbyd about not booing 'in church'.

That would certainly be boorish behavior, even when something that has been said is totally indefensible - not to mention, booing certainly shows lack of 'class', IMO.

A better suggestion would be to try this.

Elevate your arms up into the air, and give an animated "two thumbs down" salute, instead.

(For the best effect, one should be sitting fairly close to the front, and near the center, when making this gesture.)

So I yell across the room to madre, "Hey, madre, come and read this post." She read it with no reaction.
I says, "madre, it is either funny or offensive....."
madre says, "It is neither. Stop being a baby."
I says, "Don't it bother you?"
madre says, "No, I was just wondering what blouse to wear when I do that two-thumbs-down thingy."

 

hmm...i didn't realize my wife had a sister! :laugh:
