If i'm paying 20 bucks for a professional sports event and some overpaid jerk decides not to play...i'm all for booing!
Now the booing during my preaching, that's a different story. I keep asking my wife to stop...but she calls me a big baby.

    Try this!

I agree with The Scribe and bobbyd about not booing 'in church'.

That would certainly be boorish behavior, even when something that has been said is totally indefensible - not to mention, booing certainly shows lack of 'class', IMO.

A better suggestion would be to try this.

Elevate your arms up into the air, and give an animated "two thumbs down" salute, instead. [IMG] [IMG]

(For the best effect, one should be sitting fairly close to the front, and near the center, when making this gesture.)

So I yell across the room to madre, "Hey, madre, come and read this post." She read it with no reaction.
I says, "madre, it is either funny or offensive....."
madre says, "It is neither. Stop being a baby."
I says, "Don't it bother you?"
madre says, "No, I was just wondering what blouse to wear when I do that [IMG] two-thumbs-down [IMG] thingy."
