It happened in a small town in Michigan - Hamtramck, to be exact. Population 23,000. </font>
My sister used to live there when her husband worked in Detroit.

Tell me, Lady Eagle, this story seems to be a couple of years old about this man. Did the White House just tell him, "Naughty, naughty!" and let him stay on? Bush ended up losing the Arab vote in the last election, didn't he? Is this man still out of line? I trust David Horowitz and Front Page so I know that there is something to this story.

I nominate you for the silliest comment of the year award for that one, LadyEagle. [IMG]

</font>
Yes there is. Strange how the majority of so-called conservatives & Republicans keep quiet and are actually party to all of this - regardless of what oaths they take when they assume public office. :(

Grover is presently under investigation by the DOJ and a congressional committee because of his ties with lobbyist Jack Abramoff about the Native American Indian scandal.

It's too bad the majority of Americans are asleep at the wheel about the Islamic third jihad ideology. History repeats itself.

1. I have told you before and I will tell you again, not all Muslims (and I would contend not even most Muslims) are terrorists. You are presenting way too much melodrama for me.

2. Even if all you say is true, what do you want me to do about it?

Ken, we both know that Bush has his blind spots or issues that he ignores for one reason or another. Yet on other things he is a real fighter and leader.

Bush should pay a little more attention to Christians. David Horowitz is reliable. He has confessed his political errors and done an about face. So has Michael Medved.

Ken, I concede one point to you. Your political instinct is very good.

The Constitution Party keeps telling us that Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush are the same or that Democrats and Republicans are the same.

I think that the Constitution Party wants to sideline the Democrats from the debate so that they can attack the Republicans.

The Constitution Party hopes to win one of two means. First, they hope to destroy the GOP by chipping away day by day by comparing what the GOP accomplishes in realty with what the CP wants in utopia, to which place they are marching in lockstep singing, "If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why oh why can't I?"

Secondly, if that does not work, and it's not, they hope to move the GOP to make concessions to the CP in order to silence them.

I believe that the GOP does not have to compromise with the CP because the platform of the CP is very faulty and illogical.

I didn't. What did David Brock say? Other than seeing Norquist on TV a time or two the past few years advocating reducing federal government spending I haven't heard much of him or about him for years until this thread.

Go get a copy of Blinded By The Right and turn to page 66 if it is the hardback version. Isn't it amazing that Norquist would have a picture of this guy in his living room????

[I have contacted David Brock directly, and if he says it's okay, I will reproduce what he wrote.]

Regards,
BiR

Michelle Malkin has written that even though she is of Filipino-Japanese descent, she agrees that in the time of WWII, the internment camps were the only sane thing our government could have done under the circumstances.

I agree. I also happen to believe it is time for the camps again, only this time with any and all Middle Eastern people, as well as all illegal alien workers.

This stuff is getting VERY serious and Americans ONCE AGAIN are ignorant of it. Americans have their bowl of "porridge" and won't do anything in spite of all the signs and blatant warnings of disaster.

You doubt my words? READ this thread again. And READ the accompanying links.

And while yer at it, go here: www.understandingislam.com

BiR thanks...Norquist to me is one meanspirited
person ..someone that mean seems to favor total
domination as in fascist lite in our great nation.

His personal life seems to cloaked in mystery
as well as if he is hiding something or is
afraid of losing his movement to those who
think he is straight with them.

I would like for him to have a Lee Atwater moment
and accept Jesus and fess up to his cloak and
dagger manipulative life.

back on topic ..apparently according to the news
Al Qaeda still has training camps and they
are in Pakistan..someone should be fired!

Bush is cruising and like his life story he makes
a mess and lets someone else pay for it or clean
it up.

Bush is in the Warren Harding zone big time.

Impeach him or have a recall vote.

Tired of bush dragging our great nation down the
tubes.

Sorry.
Bad web site.
It SHOULD have been:
www.understanding-islam.com

I think the first one I posted is moderate. Strange how the one tries to "mask" jihad, while the other comes right out with it.

Sorry, I missed this post.
This is by far the most disturbing thing I have ever seen posted on the Board.

Think about what you have said with this statement. You are actually claiming that we need internment camps for "any and all Middle Eastern people." So, regardless of what these people have/haven't done, you believe that they should all be sent to internment camps?
Simply put: have you lost your mind?!

Using your logic, why would we stop there? The most populous Muslim country isn't even in the Middle East, so are you going to round up all people of Southeast Asian origin as well? Come to think of it, there are a substantial number of Muslims in Africa, so are you going to round up the people of African descent as well? Exactly where does it end?

Rounding up people simply based upon their nationality or religion is wrong in every scenario. I will say that again for you, it is wrong in every scenario.

As for what happened during World War II:

http://www.worldwar2database.com/html/intern.htm

The Smithsonian had an exhibit on the internment camps about a year ago, and I was amazed at what I saw. Isn't it interesting that this was not done to the Germans, Austrians, Italians, Czech's, Slovak's, Croats, Bulgarians, Romanians, Hungarians? Have you ever wondered why?

I cannot believe that you would honestly write something like this on a baptist board. Imagine how that comment looks to a lost world....

Furthermore, I find it very interesting that you were compelled to add Michelle Malkin's ethnicity to your comments. Exactly how does that change the fact that the internment of AMERICANS was wrong? Yeah, that's right: those people were AMERICANS. Essentially, their Transgression was the fact that their ancestors happened to be Japanese. Horrible ideas are still horrible ideas, regardless of the nationality of the person who formulates them. Have you read that pathetic book? I have.

To quote Bruce Springsteen [again]:
"God have mercy on the man who doubts what he's sure of."
