I'm not the one who implied that Jesus didn't know how to present the gospel properly.

Oh, you certainly were. You brought all that up on your own. You're angry, again as usual.

I never even came close to your accusations and drivel against me.

    Bless you.

OK, show me where he said one word about grace being necessary for faith in this conversation.

Gospel is not in verse 3 onward...I left nothing out. Verses 1 and 2 are one thought, verses 3 - 8 another, 9-11 another, etc.

There is no faith mentioned in verses 3-8...how can it be the Gospel?

Uh, no. All of them are a continuation of what he is declaring, the Gospel, as he plainly said. Nice try.

Gospel is described and he tells them he is declaring it to them, and describes all of it after verse 3. That you can't see this is sad really. I suppose you need the word gospel every other word to see this is what he is declaring to them? That you don't know this is the Gospel is sad.

So now faith is the Gospel? The message was the same as he preached to them, he called it the gospel, whereby they were saved (shows faith) (How do you not see faith there?) and wherein they stand, and he again declared this Gospel to them, i.e. the death burial and resurrection in teh following verse after 3. Same thing he preached to them. Same thing preached in Acts.

Who knows, maybe a creed was where they stood and what saved them?

Maybe we should preach we are saved by a creed and our faith stands on it? I'll let you do that while I preach the Gospel.

How are you going to defend the Gospel if you don't know what it is and can't see it so plainly laid out?

    Read it. It's right there.

    Let this answer for you:

Did the Word say "...and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

or does it say: "...and shalt believe in thine heart he was born of a virgin, thou shalt be saved."

I'll let you determine which one is correct.

Only one contains the main part of the Gospel, and that is the one I will preach.

How many straw men will you invoke?

Well, I dont have the power to see and know a mans salvation. The only thing I can see is outward. But, I would have "reservations" about anyone claiming salvation without acceptance of the virgin birth. So yes, I think, the virgin birth is an essential of the Gospel.

Does that answer your question to me?
