Is it in our doctrin that all the Decons must be over 200 pounds

    I just had to laugh when I read this title.

    Are you implying that the deacons at your church are fat? 200# for a man doesn't seem all that much unless the men are really short of something.

    The deacons at my church are just regular ordinary looking guys. So much for it being a Baptist doctrine.

    Maybe it's a regional thing? I know that in the south the cooking isn't exactly what I would call calorie conscious. ;)
