    .... on military bases?

Some of you may think RD2 is being sarcastic at a bad time, and you may be right, BUT I am being serious; as serious as a heart attack.

The next time Obama and his crowd of socialists call for gun control, let it start close to home ... with the military bases [one shooting at the Naval Yards and two at Fort Hood] and within his Secret Service detail. I suggest the SS because if these guys are getting invloved in sex scandals [lots of people kill over sexual relationships gone bad] and alcohol on the job, what's to keep one of them from losing it and shooting a bunch of South American hookers, or fellow members of their SS team while intoxicated?

If Obama and Holder and Harry think guns are root of all problems, then I say demonstrate to us that you personally can go through life without guns in the hands of the military and Secret Service, and Homeland Security, and the FBI, CIA, just to name a few! After all England's finest, walk the streets in the name of keeping the peace, with nothing but a club.

If you are going to take away guns, lead the way and show us that iit will work! Then and only then can they [Obama and friends] convince me, and the rest of us gun owning Americans, that guns kill are not the way!

Another opinionated opinion by RD2....

I concur, but the ironic thing is that military bases such as Ft. Hood are already gun-free zones; and most serving in the military (at least the ones I know) are not particularly happy about it.

Ironic indeed. Disarm the one group of people who have countless hours of training in firearms, understand rules of engagement and have the resolve to protect their own. Ridiculous.

This most recent coward shot himself when confronted by an armed MP. I'm wondering how inclined these crazies would be to choose differently knowing they would encounter someone who could shoot back.

Not at all. Ludicrous, yes, but not sarcastic. Disarm soldiers on military bases? That's already been done. They can't carry on-post unless it is their military weapon and they are going to or from training exercises. The only ones allowed to carry are MPs/SPs. That was Clinton's doing 15 years ago, and it was a mistake then, as well as now.

As to the Secret Service, I'm going to take that as a joke. You can't possibly be serious.
