I didn't say there isn't anything to Learn about the Flood . I said the direct command to build an Ark is not directed to us .

not really, because some say oh we need to obey all the commands in the bible. Or we need to obey everything Jesus said and commended. Well no we do not otherwise we would only go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel or go show ourselves to the levitical priest ect .

All scripture was inspired to us, but was not for us!

Do we live under the OT laws and sacrificial system then?

Why are you asking me this question? Does 2 Timothy 3:16-17 say that we live under the O.T. ceremonial and sacrificial laws?
    But
Does it say that ALL Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, so that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work? So why do you think that all Scripture is not for us?

I think that we might be discussing semantics here, as see both of us agreeing that all of the bible was and in inspired, I was just saying that not all of it would be directly applicable to us today, such as what the israelites had to do under Old Covenant!

You stated that all Scripture was not for us (post #106). This is an incorrect statement. The fact that we are no longer under the Mosaic Covenant does not alter this. Matthew 4:4; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11. This is not semantics, but vitally important for a proper understanding of the word of God.

Trying to say that all of the scripture was given to us, but much of the OT now are examples and principles for us, not to be literally copied and done!

 I know that's what you are trying to say, but it's not what you actually did say.
You said that not all Scripture is for us. It will be helpful if you can bring yourself to admit that you made a mistake in saying that.
I am sorry to keep pressing the point, but there are spiritual lessons to be learned from all the way through the O.T., and it is important that people do not think that they can ignore them because Y1 said so on the Baptist Board.

I do admit that did not say it rightly, but do think that we are essential agreement!

I stated it wrong, as meant to say not directly applicable;e to is. as in carrying out the OT sacrifices for example! I am not a Hyper Dispy, seeing only Paul for us today!
