    The vows of celibacy and chastity are different:

    From the Catholic Encyclopedia...

    "The vow of chastity forbids all voluntary sexual pleasure"

    The vow of celibacy is defined as "abstinence from marriage"

    Most priests take a vow of celibacy but not a vow of chastity.
