It is alleged that Saddam is guilty of many crimes. He is charged with ordering the execution of his own civilians.

    Is Saddam guilty?

I haven't seen or heard all of the evidence, I have only seen and heard what has been pushed out through the media, so because of that I can't answer the poll.

My answer would be: I don't know. I haven't heard the evidence against him.

What a concept, hearing the evidence before you declare him guilty! Next you're going to want to hear his defense as well.

The charges aren't even enumerated here, but he's guilty fer sure!

You have removed so much doubt about your position . . . .

I am glad that you have kept track of Saddam and his crimes over the years. And at least this time, you seem to be leaning towards admitting that he has some guilt.

I guess it was the way my parents brought me up to have such crazy notions.... :)

Oh, wait.. it's not a crazy notion, it's a respectable way to think.

Was there any law against what he did? He was head of the country so he made the laws. I don't think he would have made it ilegal to do what he was doing or he made himself guilty.

    Saddam? Of course.

I think the big question is what about his 80s accomplices....

In the 80's we were recovering from a helicopter and C5 accident in Iran . . . and any enemy of our enemy was a friend (muslim logic as well). This was also before, saddam killed his cousin(s). And before he killed hundreds of thousands using chemical munitions.

Having said that, I never did like Rummies friends & business associates.

    From wiki.

Not only did Jimmy mess up a little in all of this, I still blame Saddam . . . He never had to choose to go around killing people.

I see in your profile that you have accepted Christ as your Saviour.

Do you not see that there are moral laws preventing the murder of others?

He didn't say guilty before God, I thought he meant the trial. I would not judge his spiritual guilt as he may accept Christ as his savior which would make him not guilty by the blood.

@El_Guero = Don't blame Jimmy, we all know Regan was selling weapons to Iran. Don't make like Jimmy did that.

    OUCH!

But, the don't blame Jimmy is kinda like saying don't blame Bush . . . the buck stops with the pres.

Actually, Reagan continued what Carter started. Sadly enough, several presidents looked the other way as he bought chemical precursors so that he could murder civilians.

It was only after Bush I got in there that we started to take all of the muslim extremists at their wild claims of eliminating the USA.

Lockerbee was one of many wake up calls - and we just didn't get it until after September 11th.

So, do I blame Jimmy more than George? Nope, they all had problems on their watch.

I blame Saddam, Osama, and all of their type.
