I work better when I have a vacation regularly. I need those breaks.

So no need to worry about vacations as "sin".

The sin is NOT taking them and either burning out or robbing your family of those speical times.

Boy howdy---Dr. Bob----Its a good thing that vacationing isn't a "sin" or you would be "up the creek without a paddle"----or would THAT be considered a vacation---going up that creek in a cruise boat??!!!

I limit myself to two cruises a year. The rest of the trips are to visit grandkids.

And living in Wyoming? Settling for MORE.

Is that kinda sorta like a "Chain Smoker" limiting himself to 3 packs of cigarettes/day??

How about arrangeing a Wyoming revival for your ole buddy, Blackbird---Any SBC churchs hanging around??

    Speaking of vacations,

I am not exactly taking a vacation, but will be taking one in a way from the internet for a week. I am leaving Sunday after Church to teach at the Arkansas Tech University Band Camp for a week. Therefore, I won't be on more than likely for a while.

    Please pray for me.

    Thanks,

    Joseph Botwinick

Dr Bob, very well put! [IMG] May those of us on the BB have your permission to use your quote?

Lea, thank you for your prayers. You must have been praying for us on Firday evening (8pm, in a very heavy rain). We were traveling westbound on I-66 near Front Royal. About 1/4 mile in front of us a vehicle had done a 360 2 times. I pulled over to see what the problem was. He had hit the left quard rail, and ended up on the right side of the road. He did not even realize he had hit the guard rail. He had only fallen asleep for a couple of seconds.
Had we been 15 seconds ahead... [IMG]

Otherwise, we had a great time. Went to an Atlanta Braves game. The Royals were leading the whole game, until I left in the 8th. Why o why did I leave??? :(
We visited the GWTW musueum in Jonesboure, and visted a nearby civl war era home.
Went on a tour of First Baptist Church in Atlanta at their new location (I-285/I-85), and then had lunch in their lunch room. Stopped by BJU in Greenville. Saw some friends in Bluefield VA/WV
Yes, it was a great time to spend with my wife on our first anniversary.
We drove 2500 miles in ten days. Julie drove 100 miles, and I did the rest! Now I need to rest from my R&R [IMG]

Now lets hear your great vacation stories.

This Saturday I have a 3 pm wedding in Bear Trap Meadow up on Casper Mountain. Just a brief private ceremony, then . .

A 4:30 pm wedding on Monkey Mountain Ranch north of Glenrock (about 35 miles away) which will definitely tax my travel time coming down the mountain, hitting I-25 for 25 miles then out in the high plains, then . .

And a 7:00 pm wedding in a lovely yard in Evansville (suburb of Casper). Couple lives in Gillette but get married at the family home here.

'Twill be too busy to enjoy much of the fine Wyoming scenery this Saturday!!
