While the Dalai Lama might seem like a man of peace*, who speaks extollingly of Jesus’ compassion, he fits the Biblical definition of an antichrist.

As John wrote, there are many antichrists:
    1 John 2
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

The Dalai Lama denies the Father and the Son, while claiming to be the incarnation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of compassion.

As such, he comes instead of or in place of Christ, for millions of unsuspecting people:

Jesus said beware of false prophets, that by their fruits, you will know them. (Matthew 7:15–20)
While Chinese communism has done Tibet no favors, it’s a lie that pre-invasion Tibet was a bastion of human rights:
Human rights in Tibet - Wikipedia

As Tibet's head of state, who supposedly were the incarnation of an infinitely compassionate being, the dalai lamas had a funny way of showing it.

    *2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

I guess he has a 1 in several billion chance of being antichrist.

    No. He's not the antichrist.
    Period.

As would be any religious leader that denies Jesus is Lord and God!

You're thinking of the Panchen Lama.

Communist China's pretty sick for holding a child in captivity for the rest of his life, if he's still even alive.
