Is this a good idea, or a death sentence?

    I am currently involved in many forums, and they all seem to have people that complain... They either moderate it to much, or not enough, well now I have come up with a solution. I have created the perfect forum that is moderated very closely, but there is a section called the boxing ring. There are different levels of debate, with one section that will barely be moderated. Let me know what you think, I may be asking for trouble, but it might be fun.
    Your feedback would be appreciated.

    Law and Order is good, especially on a Message Board Site.

    Well moderated sites do very well.

    My vote: death sentence. :tonofbricks:

    just checked it out.

    I'm not a big huge fan of unmoderated boards, but that's just me...others obviously like it.

    I do find it humorous that Herb Evans...a banned poster here...is already starting trouble over there. Doesn't take long, does it?

    Anyhoo, good luck with the site.

    Thanks for your best wishes. Actually, I have heard alot about herb, but he has problems logging onto my site. Says that my site freezes his PC. Lol, maybe God doesnt want him there.... I dont know...

    Thanks for pointing that out, I just added a missions forum... about the un-christian nastiness... Well, no one said anything un-christian would happen there... It is just a place intense fellowship. =)

    (To be fair though, the FFF is where I met Dr Bob, but he was about the only one who ever posted anything worth reading. And he did it with kindness.)


    I was just going to say mlongley, that I was at the FFF for a few times and that's why Im here now. lol That board went down because it was either unmoderated, or lightly moderated, and it was just terrible. Pretty much people looking for a fight aren't usually in a gentle, kind and loving mood.

    Yes, I actually have Dr. Bob as one of my moderators. I know that he is experienced in Forums, and even though we dont always agree, I respect him and know that he will keep things under control.
