It Costs Nothing to be a Patriot
Amount of credible state terror whistleblowers reflects unbelievable enlightenment progress since 9/11

    Paul Joseph Watson | October 31 2005

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."
    -Mark Twain

The past year has witnessed a groundswell of support for controversial truths from credible individuals across the political spectrum.

We tread on fertile ground and the climate has never been more welcoming of what would otherwise be considered difficult realities.

In the face of despair born of a world in constant swirling turmoil, we need to regularly remind ourselves of the fact that many hands make light work and slowly but surely we are gaining momentum and having an increasingly indelible effect.

As the Internet becomes the first source for news and as political blogs and alternative news websites are being called 'the new talk radio', so it follows that high profile political figures are more and more fearless to embrace popular trends in thinking and put their reputations on the line in the name of truth and liberty.

In the immediate aftermath of September 11, criticism of the government was tantamount to treason. Over four years on and it's almost a cliched fashion trend.

Rather than jumping on the cultural bandwagon however, many individuals have simply hardened their stance on the core issue that dominates all others, state engineered terror and false flag operations.

In April 2002 Cynthia McKinney became a pariah after she questioned the official story of 9/11 and was run out of office for doing so.

Three and a half years on and there are dozens of Cynthia McKinney's. The state and its media establishment mouthpieces cannot make bad examples out of all of them because their numbers are too great. In a target rich environment, focused demonization campaigns are worthless.

Former German Defense and Technology Minister Andreas von Buelow was among the first to point the finger of blame directly at the highest levels of the US intelligence establishment for complicity in 9/11.

Von Buelow stated that 9/11 was the first stage of a covert operation carried out to brainwash Americans into supporting a war on the Muslim world and eventually a conflict with China.

In September 2003, former Blair environment Minister Michael Meacher called the war on terrorism "bogus" in a London Guardian piece and attacked the 9/11 NORAD non-response as inconceivable.

In subsequent articles Meacher again raised government protection of terrorists and questioned why the so-called mastermind of the 7/7 London bombings was an MI6 asset.

Former Chief Economist for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first term Morgan Reynolds caused waves when he released a detailed analysis of the highly suspicious collapse of Building 7 and came to the same conclusion as this website when stating that there was no other reasonable explanation than that the building was brought down by carefully placed explosives.

High profile Member of Parliament George Galloway, who is again under attack even after proving he was framed by means of forged documents against him, warned of the "very real danger" of the US government staging a terror attack. Galloway made this statement in June of this year and encouraged the public to be wary of a false pretext for a pre-planned invasion of Iran.

Galloway elaborated on his warning during a September radio interview.

"There is a very real danger because you have elements within the state, you have the Richard Pearle 'axis of evil' snarling 'you're next' at this country or that country and yet the circumstance on the ground, the political collapse of the Bushites in the United States, the resistance in Iraq having taken such a terrible toll...is making the idea of another war simply ridiculous...and yet there are those in this Neo-Con, Zionist, Christian Fundamentalist axis that really are itching to get as much of this agenda pushed on whilst they still have the reins of power. So you cannot discount some kind of provocation being staged by those elements who want to propel the US into an even more disastrous invasion."

Former MI5 agent David Shayler, who previously blew the whistle on the British government paying Al Qaeda $200,000 to carry out political assassinations, went on the record with his conviction that 9/11 was an inside job meant to bring about a permanent state of emergency in America and pave the way for the invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq and ultimately Iran and Syria.

Shayler elaborated by saying the evidence suggests the attack was originally meant to be much wider in scope and was an attempt at a violent coup intended to decapitate the entire government as a pretext for martial law.

"So you're looking at a situation in which you almost have a coup de'tat because you've got to bear in mind that there were weapons discovered on planes that didn't take off on 9/11. Now people have obviously postulated that they were going perhaps to attack the White House, Capitol Hill. That looks to me like an attempt to destroy American government and declare a state of emergency, in fact a coup de'tat, a violent coup de'tat."

Shayler's recent admission, namely that Tony Blair was an MI5 agent long before he became Prime Minister and was used to spy on so-called subversives within the UK, was given absolutely no attention by the lapdog British media, even though Shayler worked at MI5 and personally saw Blair's file.

Congressman Ron Paul, widely recognized as the most conservative representative in America, pulled no punches when he opined that the Bush administration's agenda was to create no less than an outright police state and enact sweeping gun confiscation programs against any individuals who do not recognize the government's total and unwavering authority over their lives.

"I think they're concerned about the remnant, the remnant of those individuals who don't buy into stuff and think that they should take care of themselves on their own, that they should have their own guns and their own provisions and they don't want to depend on the government at all and I think that is a threat to those who want to hold power. They don't want any resistance to their authoritarian rule," said Paul.

Just in the past fortnight, two more highly respected individuals have voiced similar comments.

Former CIA Analyst Ray McGovern, a man who briefed President George Herbert Walker Bush on a daily basis in the late 80's, added himself to the list of characters beyond reproach who are warning against staged state terror.

McGovern and his fellow CIA colleagues saw the genesis of the rise of the Neo-Cons, which they knew as "the crazies," who now control US foreign policy and use it as a tool of brutal empire.

    McGovern's admonition was clear.

"We have to be careful, if somebody does this kind of provocation, big violent explosions of some kind, we have to not take the word of the masters there in Washington that this was some terrorist event because it could well be a provocation allowing them, or seemingly to allow them to get what they want."

McGovern also added that he wouldn't put it past the administration to "play fast and loose" with terror alerts in order to rally the population around their agenda.

Former United Nations weapons inspector and Marine Scott Ritter appeared on The Alex Jones Show and stated that he wouldn't rule out the possibility of the Bush administration staging a terror attack in order to jolt a wavering foreign policy agenda back on track.

Ritter has extensive knowledge of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Europe. He served in the Office of Special Commission at the United Nations (UN), where he coordinated international efforts to implement United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions mandating the elimination of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. When Ritter's vocal pronouncements of the fact that Iraq had no WMD before the war went unheeded, Ritter became a leading critic of the Bush administration.

Ritter compared the atmosphere within the administration to that during the time of Watergate, where Nixon considered utilizing America's nuclear arsenal to create a devastating diversion from domestic calamity.

Asked if he thought a staged terror attack was possible, Ritter responded,

"Yeah, you have people who have no regard for the rule of law. These aren't people who appreciate the Constitution, to them the Constitution is an impediment, it's an obstacle, it's something in the way, it's something to be avoided. They are married to an ideology of global domination, of global imperialism and they're not going to deviate from this."

These are just a handful of the highly-regarded individuals who have blown the whistle on state sponsored terror. The levee has broken and it seems that each passing week brings a new volley of credible support for the evidence that 9/11 was an inside job and that unless we are extremely vigilant, another staged event could take place.

Woeful attempts at 9/11 hit pieces like that of Popular Mechanics are falling flat on their faces because the sheer volume of undeniable evidence and its approbation and ratification by immensely respected political heavyweights has turned the tide of popular opinion and acceptance of truth.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."
    Mahatma Gandhi

Long may the rampaging foray of truth continue as the world begins to rise from its collective slumber and recognize the secret manipulations behind global events that are geared to turn us into a prison planet.

In time many more will stand forth and speak the truth that will guide human consciousness into a new enlightenment of understanding and liberty.

For it costs nothing to be a patriot.

This bush whitehouse is the most secretive in American History even more so than Richard Nixon
an administration based on Fear instead of Faith.

Imgration reform is a joke...a real joke , a whitewash and empty rhetoric.

Its the old "no child left behind shell game" talk the talk but do not fund anything...bush has no
intention to do any real hardcore solutions with
immigration...wal-mart, tysons are only a phone
call away...and bush like the bobble head that he
is will be agreeing with them in no time.

So if you want to call those people globalists who
will discriminate against Americans in jobs and good paying jobs then so be it they are Globalists. And don't give me that bull about"they
are taking jobs americans will not do" that is baloney ..high paying jobs are now being fitted to
pay these people at a lower scale...so again its all about the middle class stressed...and dropping out...and I am sorry if you lose them...you lose
    the country.

The race to the bottom under this administration has the green lights and the cronies or Ken Lay
types will get very rich...very, very, rich.

and the middle class will take a cut and must do
more to keep up..if they survive.

Simply put, it's workers in the US producing more, for the same wage. Any time you've been assigned an extra job at work, but offered no raise for doing it, that's productivity.
In terms of the raw numbers, you have to give Bush some credit. The economy is growing, not shrinking. On paper. But we don't live on paper, we live in the real world. There's a problem. First, we had a jobless recovery, the longest jobless recovery since World War II, and now we have a wageless recovery.

This government on the whole either side of the ailse is not loyal to America but loyal to globalism or the New World Order. A strong prosperous America isn't going to fit into a one world government they know it and we know it. We're being turned into a thirdworld police/surveillance state intentionally. Both major parties have their roles in the process.

The only thing that has changed in the plan for the last 50 years is that more us know it's being done intentionally and they know we know it now.
