"It's cold, so there can't be global warming"

Some will undoubtedly try, but you cannot argue with temperature data.

How about giving us the highlights in text?

I don't feel like spending almost nine minutes listening to some video without even knowing what point you are trying to make and the rationale for it.

Why is it that those who point to the cursory evidence that shows an average increase in temeratures over the last 200 years are now categorically dismissing the cursory evidence of an average decrease in temperatures over the last 10 years?

Sometimes it's hot. Sometimes it's cold. I call that a change of seasons.

That doesn't change the fact that global warming alarmists cooked the books to create a problem that never existed..

That's easy...because admitting a decrease in temps completely impugns the Gore-ians, and destroys their credibility. (not to mention messes up their plans for a cathedral dedicated to the screech owl, Al Gore, and the Last Known Polar Bear On Earth)

But seriously, your question is a good one. And there isn't an answer, other than, "It doesn't fit with their agenda." This was never about science, saving the planet, or the good of man. It was (is) a shakedown--dishonest, anti-freedom, dangerous.

Weather, like the economy and other things, has a cyclical nature. This is evidenced in tree rings and other data.

One of the great things about God's design of this world is that there is a natural regulation that allows for ripe times of plenty and some times of cleansing. Mini-ice ages lead to centuries of harvest, periods of dry lead to extended times of rain and water collection.

While I absolutely believe that we must be excellent stewards of our environment, that there is never an excuse for an aggregious polluter, and that mankind has impact the environment we need to temper our responses and not destroy innovation and progress in the face of conflicted information.

haha - very true

AND we've all heard stories from old folks about the string of summers when it was so hot you could fry that egg on the sidewalk - or so cold in the winter you could walk across the canal . . .

I'm sure they heard similar stories from the old folks of their time.

Please give me a link to this information. It does not fit what I have read.

World will warm faster than predicted in next five years, study warns

New estimate based on the forthcoming upturn in solar activity and El Niño southern oscillation cycles is expected to silence global warming sceptics

Thanks.

A lot of records for high temperatures in the DFW area of Texas were established in 1980. I remember it well.

A lot of records for cold temperatures were set in 1983. Ice skating on ponds is almost unheard of in Texas, but I saw it happen in 1983.

"Global warming" is a bunch of hooey. IMHO

All I know is this has been the coldest winter I've experienced since I've been in Florida. My water has frozen several times.
