    By the way, I received my national debt badge from The Concord Coalition (LINK) today in the mail. I will display it in a prominent place in my cubicle at work.

    9/11 changed the way we live. It costs money to protect our country. Perhaps if we eliminated welfare and using tax dollars to fund abortion and fetal stem-cell research we'd reduce that deficit.

    Agree! It made us more fearful and wimpy. The average American now wants security, not freedom.

    Two sides to a balance sheeet. It creates jobs to ptotect our country that hopefully are not filled by illegal aliens.
