    Memorial Day doesn't mean anything to Obama so therefore the photo is appropriate.

    You have touched on a subject that has long concerned me. The older generation, as you know, called it Decoration Day. Then I moved to Indianapolis 30 years ago where it is a very carnal holiday and they say, of course, Happy Memorial Day. However I saw former Reagan chief of staff New Hampshire Gov. John Sunni on tv and he said "Happy Memorial Day!" so I guess that one is lost because that is what I said in recent years.
