Java Problem

    When I try to go into a chat room that uses Java it allows me on but the connection to the chat room dies after a couple of minutes. Does anyone have a solution?

    Don't know much about java other than starbucks is good - uh, it usually works fine. You might check into updating jave on your rig. Not sure how to do that since mine just updates itself. http://www.java.com/en/

    You might also try a different browser.

    Thanks. I have the latest Java update, got rid of the old ones, cleaned out my caches, even tried a different browser - still have the problem.

    If it only happens in one particular chat room you might email them and see if they have any ideas. If it is more than one chat room then you have the problem of the year :-Z In control panel there should be a java button. Click it and it opens a window with info/stuff. You might snoop around in there. You might look around java's site for an faq and see if others have had the problem.

    Version 6 update 7 is the latest. You sure you're running it?

    You might also try updating your Flash and Shockwave players as well, as one of these could be the culprit.
