Does anyone know much about the Jerusalem Targum? I'm assumging it's a Bible version of some sort. I was just wondering because i found this site that was using this version to give better understanding of stuff that Jesus said. Here's the link: http://users.aristotle.net/~bhuie/christot.htm

The part I was reading was basically saying that God the Father never showed Himself, and even though it seemed like He did, did version cause of where it comes from apparently proves it. So I was just wondering if anyone could give me info on it, and what you think of it. Thanks for the help!

this is what i googled: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Targum

as i understand it, NT scholars are generally cautious abt "discovering" hidden meanings in the "underlying" Aramaic--one such caution was issued in regard to George Lamsa's claims concerning his NT produced out of the Aramaic: http://www.bibletexts.com/qa/qa023.htm

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Lamsa

i'm not sure i get what u're saying, but Jn 1:18 tells us that while God the Father is invisible to human eyes, the unique One in the bosom of the Father declares Him to us.

    hope this helps.
