The line Jesse used to use when commentating the rasslin would be an interesting foreign policy..."Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat"...

(...hang on...isn't that the policy already? ;) )

Oh well, at least if he won it you wouldn't have to wait 4 years for someone to challenge him for the title ;)

I would consider voting for Jesse Ventura in November if he runs. I had not expected that there was any chance of him doing so. We'll see. I hope he decides to run.

Somehow I just knew that this would be KenH's ideal candidate. See I told ya'll that KenH was a shark sizing up his prey.[IMG]

Jesse Ventura is quite a bit a libertarian.

Ventura is better than Obama or Clinton. Then again, so is a hatrack.

other adjectives came to mind, other than "libertarian."

Personal opinion of mine: that man's not stable enough to be mayor of a town of 50.

Good, you vote for the hat rack (which would be an improvement over Bush) and I'll vote for either Obama or Clinton!

I've heard people claim Jesse was a liberterian, but he's never really articulated much of a liberterian bent, save for one or two fringe issues. Otherwise, it seemed he governed in MN as more of a big-brother type. Where does he articulate policies anywhere? I'd be curious to read them.

There are two types of people on this subject. Either you want to take care of yourself, or you want the government to take care of you.

Of course they never say "I want the government (when in reality it is the tax payers) to take care of "me". They only point to others. Truth is it is the "me" they are most likely concerned about.

I wonder what the DNC offered Ventura to jump in. He was a failure of a governor so what chance does he have of getting elected? Just another pubilcity stunt to offset the votes that Nader will steal off the democrats.

This confirms my thinking, if he runs it will split the democratic vote and assure the republican victory.

sorry, PS. i didn't see your post above but I wasn't trying to copy your post...

I guess I'm just glad Arnold can't run...

I stated an opinion. If he liked his social programs and foreign polices he can overlook that little 9/11 thingy...

I am sorry that you hate me, webdog, my brother in Christ. I hope that one day you will regard me differently. If not, then you will when we are both in Heaven.
