Johann Sebastian Bach wrote Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring in 1723. It has been translated from German into English and is sung at both Christmas and Easter.

Bach may have started the tradition of men going Baroque every year at Christmas.

God’s richest blessings to you and yours!

Well done, Ken. I never would have found that and I like bluegrass. As you know, Bach is often performed on guitar.
