The pro-Kerry Der Spiegel newspaper in Germany has an interesting view of how our election turned out. Remember who our friends really are in the decades to come. Click here to read the article. Below is the drawing used with the article. They are mocking us (the states who voted for Bush) but I kind of like it.

    In defense of der Spiegel
the caption under the image reads:
"Neue Weltordnung: United States und "Jesusland" (im Web kursierendes Bild, Ursprung unbekannt)"
    Translation
New World Order: United States and Jesusland (image circulating on the web. Origin unknown.

Der Spiegel did not make this up, they were simply reporting the existence of that image.

You know, if this is the worst insult they can come up with, I'll proudly take it. BTW, why do liberals say Jesusland as if it would be a bad thing? Does that say something about what they think of Religion and Christianity?

I'm glad to be where I'm at!! You know, we sometimes "gripe" about illegal's comeing across our borders---but let me point something out for you to consider

I once told a fella who was "trashin'" the USA---mind you, a citizen of the USA trashin' his own country--anyway, I told this fella---"Yes, there are a lot of people comin' here---on inflated truck "inner tubes" and overloaded fishin' boats---by the droves----why don't you just go down to the beach, fella-----and when that "illegal" washes ashore, grab his inner tube and just get yourself to where that "illegal" just washed in from!! Take you and your family and your Communist sympathzin' "pals" and get on that bananna boat and head on off to where those "boat people" just came from---and see how long you can stand it---when you get to where they just came from and you discover---ain't no government body over there gonna let you take a stand for nothing! Go on over to that country where they vote with machine guns!!! Get on out of here if that's all you've got to say!!"

    There!!!!

My county is red; however, it is far from being a 'Jesusland'. I will definately retire somewhere in 'Jesusland', but I have a feeling that I will still have to be about the business of witnessing and sharing my faith.
