You all don't have to worry about the Amero Union and this is why. If US, Canada, and Mexico adopted a EURO plan then Mexican workers could come to the US for jobs BUT as long as there is a US minimum wage the Mexicans could not be paid less than the US minimum, right? This is NOT the plan. This would not help the rich get richer and would not destroy the US middle class. The plan is to send jobs off shore where workers can be paid $100/week or less.

A friend works for a large national real estate title insurance company. This company just bought controlling interest in an Indian company which does title searches on American real estate. His office has been ordered to used the Indian company for their title searches and not American companies. An Amero Union would not help this company owner.

Read someplace that American hospitals are sending electronic scans and xrays to India to have them "read" by Indian techs. These days most every public record is on line and most applications for permits can be sent on line. Building permits, for example. There is no technical or legal reason why an American architecht could not have an engineer in India do his plan detail drawings and building permit applications. All he has to do is sign off the job when it is done.

Some public schools in Washington State have been offering on line programs for kids who don't want to attend school in person. There is no technical reason why the instructors could not be living in India.

If a house can be built in Oregon and shipped to Alaska then the same house could be built in Malaysia and shipped to Oregon. Our local building codes are available on line.

Anyway, don't worry about the amero. Worry about the economy stabilizing at 15% unemployment. The only fix is an across the board import duty on all imports including electronic imports.

    I disagree with your analysis.

The best fix is a Fair Tax System which would bring industry home from abroad.

Why would your system stop jobs from going off shore?
