To say that Biden "lied" is problematic here. Certainly he seems to be wrong, but "lies" requires an intentional wrongness with an aim of deceit. Given that he's talking about someone else's positions here, it's perfectly conceivable that he merely represented them incorrectly.

Now, should he be faulted for such? Of course. But that's another sort of fault than bald-faced lying.

 

If that were the case, he certainly lied.

You haven't demonstrated that he knew the truth about Obama's positions and decided not to tell it. In the case of the Hamas election, you've provided evidence that he represented Obama's positions incorrectly. That does not amount to lying.

Further, in the case of "meeting with terrorist leaders", you haven't even got the same question being asked. Being asked if you'll meet with "terrorist leaders" is not the same thing as saying you'll meet with the leaders of hostile nation-states, which is what Obama initially said.

 

Look, the whole deal with Biden is that he is this super-experienced wonky guy that knows it all. So, either he is that, and is lying, or he isn't that and is misrepresenting himself.

 

Bro Curtis has made accusations he has yet to prove out. I don't believe anyone should be called a liar unless one carefully provides proof.
