John 12:1-2, was not a Sabbath.

    John 12:2, . . . There they made him a supper; and Martha served: . . .
    So being six days, John 12:1, before the 14th of Nisan Passover, it could not have been a Friday.
    And John 12:12 could not have been a Sunday.
