In this verse when Jesus says sin no more unless a worse thing happen to thee what is the worse thing ? I don't believe he means hell, but could someone give me a little help in understanding this verse?

    Dear James,

    RE: something worse...

He could end up back to his original condition plus blind and/or deaf as well
    (for instance).

So you just think Jesus meant that if he sinned again he would obtain a worse physical condition. OK Thank you for your input.

Jesus indicates that sin has its inevitable consequences (Gal 6:7, 8). Although Scripture makes clear that not all disease is a consequence of sin, illness at times may be directly tied into one’s moral turpitude. Jesus may specifically have chosen this man in order to highlight this point.
