    Gentlemen and Gentle Ladies;

    I don't venture over here in the foreign land of Church History often.

    I just thought you might want to know. I am co-editor of an up and coming volume on John A. Broadus. For you who are SBC by tradition will know the name right away. Those who have a background in Homiletics will also know his name straight-a-way.

    He was one of the original founders of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also wrote A Treatise on the Preparation and Delivery of Sermons for which he is widely also known.

    The book with be a volume of scholarly essays on Broadus's lasting works, influence, and legacy.

    For every Church History buff, especially of the SBC ilk, I would think you would be interested in this read.

    But then again, I have a vested interest!:laugh:
