    It's not heresay if there is documentation, then it is called facts. Sure, he gets the benefit of the doubt, right up to the point where he teaches something that violates scripture. Then the benefit is removed and you are left with doubt... about what he is teaching.

    I agree that there should not be undocumented statements about anyone. But this was documented! He said these things which were published and are referenced.

    When it's in writing or on tape, and the person does not retract them or change them, we have to go by what they said.

    The people I know would never make such a charge about Hagee if it were not well documented. Their reputations and the reputation of their ministries are at stake.
