I know a lot of people on this board think that a Christian cannot drink alcohol at all - not a single drop. For those people I have question if they are thinking of voting for John McCain:

Does it give you pause to vote for a man whose wealth is principally from distributing beer?

Ken, your posts are becoming more and more pathetic. In an attempt to justify your overwhelming, enhtusiastic support of a Socialist, secular humanist, pro-homosexual, pro-abortion candidate, your attempts to make John McCain look bad by bringing up this and other meaningless things like he once told a dirty joke, borders on the insane. Your constant flip-flops and over-the-top rhetoric on this board indicate to me that you are not stable. Well, at least your internet persona is not stable. I obviously don't know you in person. But with nearly 30,000 posts on this board, I wonder if your internet persona is all that there is to you.

I am not running for office. I am always amazed how right-wingers attempt to make me - a lovable little fuzzball - the issue. :)

As for the flip-flops, that's because I am, in essence, thinking out loud on this board. Probably not a good idea on my part.

BTW, you didn't answer the question that I posed.

I have no problem with someone drinking a beer, so this doesn't really bother me.

Me, neither, Stefan. I am simply curious how the vehemently anti-alcohol folks feel about it.

Then I end up being personally attacked because I ask a question about an issue that is very important to a lot of Christians. :(

My non-answer should indicate to you my lack of concern over the issue. And I don't drink alcohol.

Pretty much the same way the Kennedys made their fortune. Only mcCains liquor is legal.

    Gee ---

    Do I vote for -----
a socialist who has less than four years in the Senate
who is being actively supported by homosexual activists
who got his start in politics by someone who bombed the Pentagon
who bought his house with the help of a convicted felon
who is ranked as one of the most liberal senators
who is one of the most ardent pro-abortion senators

Or do I vote for ---
    a war hero,
who has served his country for over 50 years
    who is conservative
who believes in a strong military
    who is pro-life

The fact that his wife is the chairman of beer distributorship doesn't really bother me and I'm sure it doesn't bother those she employs in the private sector - the company has more than doubled since she took over. Nor does it bother me that she adopted a little girl from Bangladesh who would have died otherwise. Two of their other sons are in the military - one at the Naval Academy and the other serving in Iraq. That doesn't bother me either.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it you, Ken, who was defending the drunk manslaughtering Teddy Kennedy just a couple of days ago?

Your rhetoric and grasping at straws with these threads, Ken, is just over the top. Please take a deep breath and take a moment to collect yourself.

Wow, the male liberal camp has already lost the glow from last night and is running scared today from a woman who is going to break through the 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling. Even Geraldine Ferraro had praise for her today. The Sisterhood is alive and well, no matter what political stripe. At the end of the day, we are women, hear us roar.
