Do you think we have judaizers in the church today?

Do you believe you see evidence of people trusting works instead of grace?

Our pastor pointed out some yesterday--showing some instances of books, teachers, theologies, etc that seem to at least imply salvation rests on works.

Mentioned were of course all that believe you can lose your salvation if you sin--that is keeping it by works.

Also, those that look to works to prove their salvation rather than trusting Christ and His Word.

Also mentioned were those that teach basically "unless you first clean up your life, or are willing to, or are willing to be made willing" you cannot get saved.

We were reminded you really can come to God just for "fire insurance", but that when you do so He will also undertake to sanctify and glorify you.

Emphasis is on He does the cleaning up of our lives.

    What think ye?

I view Judaizers as being those who try to impose their personal convictions /preferences upon all of us !

Also, try to mix up keeping the law as means to stay or get spiritual!
