Just Curious...Why did you choose the Avatar you did?

    Hello Everyone

    I am curious as to the reasons why we choose our Avatars.

    My first avatar was a picture of my kitty cat, and I took it down when he passed away. After corresponding more frequently on the BB, I felt comfortable enough to place my own picture though it is not close up.

    Why did you choose the Avatar you did? Do you think avatars with self portraits receive more responses?

    Well, I love Daffy Duck and I REALLY love any grouchy picture of Lucy van Pelt......but in my heart....

    No, I don't think avatars with pictures of the people get anymore responses.

    It does kind of help me get a picture of I'm talking to though IMHO, but I do understand why not everyone would want to put one up of themselves.

    Scarlett used a picture of Daffy for a long time and in my head, Scarlett looks like Daffy.

    Tater looks like a tatertot to me.

    Rufus looks like a dino.

    But

    SBCPreacher looks like his Picture because I've been to his website and HAVE seen his picture apart from his avatar.

    And yours isn't a close enough shot for me to know what you look like still :laugh:

    I really like the faces. Mine keeps changing -- kind of like my hair color . . .

    I guess you can tell I'm more of a visual learner :thumbs:

    Just showing someone loves me like my wife. I get such a hard time on BB, I felt it necessary to show someone in this world actually loves me...................:)

    Yeah, my favorite one of you was your last one. It was kindof a side view. Nice smile. I like Scarlette's also, I love cats.

    I think I recall tater tot in some kind of mickey mouse costume a while back, she's cute. I don't know what it is now. Tim's pink hair was my favorite at one time.

    This was my first online place. Since then on every forum or site I am "Naas Preacher." Although I am 13 years in Ireland I am originally from Alabama. Hence NSPRCHR on an Alabama licence plate.

    Ohhh, Bro. Bob, I love you!

    My avitar is my 2 new kitties, Gracie and Patches. They were given to me by a stray and I have raised the litter since they were 3 days old. I had to find homes for the other 3 kittens and mama, but hubby was sweet enough to let me keep the 2 girls.

    I love cats, and dogs...and anything else with furr!

    I just like myself....
    I took down the picture of me in Pink hair to replace it with a picture that was taken when I was a freshman in college...
    I still don't know how to remove the headshot of me... I hate that thing... I look like a dweeb!

    Hey, everyone agrees that my baby is cuter than I am. I am actually holding her in that pic but I cropped it so you can see it here.
    I put that same pic as my avatar on the puritan board and they have much larger avatars for some reason and I included myself in it.

    I do like to be able to see the person I am talking to. It helps a lot.

    I had a real pic up until I was at a funeral once and someone behind me said.."TaterTot??". I was freaked out b/c he had read on BB (posted just a few tiems) and recognized my face from that. I had never met this man lol.

    So I changed to my current one, because, well... my name is TaterTot! :) (even tho many, for some reason I can not grasp, call me....Tator Tot lol

    I guess mine would be better if you could get the full details of the original picture. This little pup was out on my rural mail route and though he was not very big, he was bound with a huge chain. And there he was howling, and howling, and howling. Ever feel like that!!!!!!
