Just one of those days when God really blesses!

Our church decided about 6 months before we started attending to be what they call Christ centered instead of man centered.

Our gal who teaches the ladies' Bible study did an excellent job this morning and it was a time of real blessing.

On to church, where the music was a blend of several kinds and styles, old and new, and all Christ centered. It was such a blessing. Our granddaughter reacts to loud discordant music by going under the pews. Today she was participating and really part of the service.

The preaching was excellent expository preaching done by our 30something associate pastor.

Before he preached the senior pastor mentioned a few ways the church is reclaiming being Christ centered, with the target demographic being cradle to grave instead of man centered with a target demographic of 18-35.

The church was packed. A few months before the changover it would have been nearly empty they said. Today we were scrunched in and breaking out folding chairs.

We continue to see folks saved. Many thought they were because they had "joined this fellowship" under the old way of doing things. Now they are hearing strong preaching and practically running to Jesus.

Just one of those wonderful days of revival.

Hope you and your church are also enjoying a season of revival.

Praise God for the ways He seems to be working in the church of which you're a member!!

Ours seems to be doing the same in several of the ways you mentioned.

Traditionally, the term "revival" has been most often applied as when lost people are getting saved [and there's an aspect of truth when used that way], but IMHO "revival" ought to be applied more often to times when God's people and God's churches are getting right with Him. IOW, you can't RE - VIVE someone/something that was never alive in the first place.
